YGLA Passes 2026 Eurovent Air Filter Tests

2026 09 07

All four YGLA air filters selected for the 2026 Eurovent Certified Performance surveillance programme successfully passed their tests on the first attempt, with no penalty tests required.

Eurovent Certified Performance includes ongoing surveillance of certified air filter ranges. Products are periodically selected for laboratory assessment to ensure they continue to meet the programme's requirements.

In 2026, four YGLA filters were selected, representing different constructions, filtration classes and filter media.

Products included in the 2026 tests

Energy Saving pocket filter — ePM1 85% / F9
592 × 592 × 535 mm · 10 pockets PASSED
Glass Fiber pocket filter — ePM10 65% / M5
592 × 592 × 360 mm · 10 pockets PASSED
Glass Fiber pocket filter — ePM10 65% / M5
592 × 592 × 635 mm · 6 pockets PASSED
4V Energy Saving filter — ePM1 60%
592 × 592 × 420 mm · A+ energy efficiency class PASSED

What was assessed?

The tests covered the main characteristics used to evaluate an air filter: filtration efficiency, ISO 16890 classification, pressure drop, annual energy consumption and energy efficiency class.

All four YGLA filters met the programme requirements. The 4V Energy Saving ePM1 60% filter also confirmed its A+ Eurovent energy efficiency class.

Why Eurovent surveillance matters

Air filter specifications influence both air quality and the energy performance of a ventilation system. Filtration efficiency determines how effectively particles are removed from the air, while pressure drop affects the resistance the system has to overcome.

Regular Eurovent assessment gives air handling unit manufacturers, HVAC contractors, consultants and building operators additional confidence that certified classifications and technical data remain supported by external testing.

Consistent performance across the tested range

The 2026 selection covered pocket and V-type filters, different filtration classes and different media technologies. Passing all four samples on the first attempt demonstrates consistent performance across the products assessed.
