Sideband filter design
Five engineered advantages
The YGLA sideband design combines open media area with controlled pleat spacing, a stable frame and precise automated assembly.
Pleat separators keep the pleats open and evenly spaced.
01
Controlled pleat spacing
Separators keep pleats open throughout service life, reducing sudden pressure-drop increases and supporting higher dust-holding capacity, lower fan load and quieter AHU operation.
02
Greater rigidity
The stiffer Fiberplast frame resists deformation and makes filter installation faster and more straightforward.
03
Larger filtration area
Two open edges expose more media to incoming air, supporting lower pressure drop and reduced fan energy consumption.
04
Wide dimensions capability
Stable construction enables custom sizes up to 650 x 650 mm.
05
Consistent automated tightness
Automated assembly ensures consistent tightness, eliminates dust leakage and protects AHU components (such as the heat exchanger, heating and cooling coils).
Construction comparison
Three filter types. One integrated solution.
The YGLA sideband concept combines the open inlet area of a conventional sideband filter with the pleat control, rigidity and tightness associated with a fully framed ventilation filter.
